It's here!

Howdy friends, family and any creepy pseudo friends stalking me on facebook,
Here's my much-anticipated blog! Thanks for being so patient while waiting to hear from me in blog form (as if you had a choice). I'm really doing well here at Oxford. I'm feeling settled and the homesickness I felt the first few weeks is gone. Everything seems to be rolling along at a good clip, and it's weird for me to say, but I'll be back in the good ol' U.S. of A. in thirty-six short days. My apologies for not getting this blog up and running sooner, but I have been a touch busy since I've arrived. :)
Now that this blog's up, I'll try to post once a week. I've decided to do this in a bullet-point form, kind of a "these are my thoughts on ___," as you'll see in my first few posts. All righty everyone, sit back, relax, and enjoy my Stories from the Shire!
